Further weather protection comes in the form of an Aqua-Tect zip down the front, Alpine cuffs, taped seams and a Tri-axial hood, which has great coverage, fits snugly yet doesn’t impede on your peripheral vision.

The outer shell is 10-denier Ballistic water-repellent nylon ripstop with a nice matte touch. For the insulation, we’ve used 800 fill power EX Down, our most premium down, in sewn-through baffles. This keeps insulation in place as well as lightening weight. And to ensure maximum longevity, the down has been proofed so it won’t escape out of the face fabric.
